Quest for Zebra Domes!!

So my dh and I are celebrating our second anniversary at Boma on May 22. Our anniversary is the 13th but our vacation is the following week. We honeymooned at AKL and ate at Boma our first night two years ago.

Now that you know the background story... We fell in love with zebra domes!! I read about them two years ago on this forum and had to try them. They are soooo good. Does Boma still have zebra domes?I'll be so disappointed if they don't.

Also, is there anything I can do to make this extra special to my dh? He knows we are going to Boma but should I order a mini cake for us to share or just eat the desserts offered on the buffet? Any suggestions?

Zebra domes were there last June. I LOVED THEM!

I would call and ask them if they could make a LARGE zebra dome cake. Like the ones you had, but a small "cake" size.

have a cake made! They are great...you can always wrap it up and take it back to your room (esp if you are in a room with a fridge) and eat the zebra domes at Boma!

It's some kind of coffee-flavored cream, inside a small chocolate-drizzled cake. They're kind of hard to describe, but they are yummy.

Thanks for all the answers. I love the zebra dome cake idea! Would that be really expensive? I just want to surprise him some how...Do you think they would deliver the miniature mickey head cake that is 4 dollars at the Boardwalk bakery? It might have to be the regular size cake.
