Quest Cheaters

I just wanted to add , I tried out my new quest machine last night and tried the first come first served prize system, I gave 11 prizes, mostly easy to get pins, and my last place prizes was credit.

If your worried too much about people waiting to get a prize, make the last four or so tasks timed, quickly, if they do not finish the they get kicked back three,
(and yes I dislike it when it happens to me i'll tell you, I have the hardest time finding things in rooms so it has happened to me)

Make the last task something easy and give it short time to do it in. if they do not do it, back they go. giving someone else a chance at the next prize. You can't win them all, but you can make it harder on them.

I'll never do a timed quest again. And if I do, it'll be made with the same structure again, meaning, I can override it easily when cheating occurs because I've learned the hard way, you can't just shut off a timed engine when mules are already in rankings.. they'll get the stuff anyways.

I tried my timed quest too (legitamitly sp?) and I couldn't come nowhere near the top times! And I made the dang thing! lol After that I thought, "Even if this CL did mule to get that time so low, he deserves the prize because that time rocks!"

I would never, ever send a peep through a player made quest. I will however message the owner for help when I get stuck! lol (which is often.... lol)

Host quests, are much easier than player quests, and I rarely get stuck on them anymore.... I run my main through first and then a peep... but I dont think of it as cheating, I think of it as preloading the rooms so they open faster. Even with preploading the rooms, I highest I place I have ranked was 63 or something like that.... No, wait, I did get 3rd or 4th in one the other day, Bella's 4 quest quest... I did not pick the quest with the 'big prize' I went for one of the other quests... And I won a fountain, a screen, and a cyan tiki. Bearz, who went through first(with a time of close to 20 minutes since I had to load ALL the rooms AND I DC'd) placed 67th and won the talking toucan pin!

Why dont I feel bad about it... the above example.. I knew all the anwsers and went to the next place right away. But since I had not been to most of the rooms since my last refresh, each rooms took forever to load, I had a bad time of 20 minutes (or so I thought... lol) So my time of 20 minutes was not because I did NOT know the quest, it was mearly because rooms took a long time to load.

Of course the above example bit me in the butt since my slow time won the big prize and my 'good time' won all buyables... lol

I do know for a fact that my time of 20 minutes would have never flown if that had been the quest with inferno... In fact I know my time that came in 3rd or 4th would not have held up, if inferno had been in the mix.

So I guess some say I am a cheater, but I stick to my story of preloading rooms!
