Last year we went to universal the week of Xmas so we focused on rides and then getting out of the crowds. We did breakfast at the three broom sticks as part of our package. We did not do olivanders because the line was always so long.

This time we are going the week before Xmas, and we want to focus on the shows and things we missed last time. We really want to do lunch at the three broomsticks and see the wand show.

Any advice on best time to go to lunch at three broomsticks? Do they help you find a table at lunch like they do at breakfast?

For the wand shop, would we be best doing that during EE? Should we do the wand first and then FJ?

the line when i went (october) during EE, was short for ollivanders.

i hit FJ for a couple of rides then did ollivanders.
think i was in the ollivander line around 8:30.

had a 10 minute wait.

once the park officially opened, the line for ollivanders grew quickly.
wait times then became 30 minutes and up.

if you do breakfast at the 3 B's early, you should be ahead of crowds.
yes, the hostess/TM's, do the same help with seating like they do at breakfast periods.

I would do ollivanders first, because the line is long and boring, so we might as well do it with the lowest line possible.

The TMs have always taken us to a table at lunch, even during slow periods.

Mid-November, the wait for Ollivanders got quite long during the day. I would definitely do that first thing in the morning.

We were able to choose our own seats every time we ate at the Three Broomsticks on this visit, regardless of the time of day.
