last week MANY people were reporting how sick they became while traveling on the fantasy (2/27-3/5). There were reports of seeing people violently ill throughout the ship. The thread was titled "possible noro on the fantasy". Did anyone just off the fantasy this week experience/notice the same widespread illness? We leave on the fantasy in 6 days. I wouldn't cancel my trip over this but would like to go with better piece of mind.

I just got off the fantasy yesterday. Didn't hear about any sickness at all. Didn't see anyone sick. We had a wonderful week and most everyone we saw was as well. The crew does a wonderful job as making sure people wash their hands at every restaurant and getting on and off the ship.

I got off yesterday and saw no signs of widespread illness. It was my first cruise, but I saw no signs of increased precautions I've read about on the boards. Buffets were still self-service, as were drink locations. Hand wipes handed out at all food locations, but I think that's normal on board ship. There was a reasonable amount of motion that might have caused some people problems. Awesome cruise, and I think the only bug I caught was the cruise bug. I want to go again soon.

We were on the Fantasy 2/20-2/27 and didn't experience any increased precautions in Cabanas, etc. I did see one clean-up team on Deck 4 near one of the atrium balconies one morning, and heard about some people being quarantined due to illness, but nothing widespread. I felt a little off in the middle of the night one night, but I was fine by morning so just put it down to overeating. DH had some digestive issues after we got home, but I blame the lunch we had at the airport rather than anything he ate on the ship.

We were on that cruise and saw and heard nothing. My son has new braces and spent an inordinate amount of time with his hands in his mouth, adjusting things - I was worried we'd catch something if anything was on board, but we were fine.
