Ques. for CM on CM passes

We will be joining a CM for two days of our trip, here is my question, on one of those days they will be with us for the day, but that evening will head home. We have dinner reservations at another park, will we be able to park hop even if they are not with us? I'm trying to decide if we need to go ahead and buy tickets for everyone for that day or if we will be able to take advantage of their passes for a few of us. Thanks in advance.

If they are using their "Main Gate Pass" for you, and you are going to be one of their guests in the park, you will be given a "Re-Entry" ticket, which is good for the parks for the rest of the night.

If they are using the white Complimentary passes for you, those are also basically a 1 day park hopper. They have big red letters on the front saying "NOT FOR SALE"

From the sounds of things, If you are using the maingate pass, You just need to meet them at one of the parks each morning for them to let you in. Once they get you in, and you receive your Re-Entry ticket, You're good to go for the rest of the day.

Do only the "regular" CMs get the 'main gate passes' ? Exactly what are these? My daughter is a CP'er working at Epcot right now and she only received the white complimentary passes. Can she get the main-gate passes?

My DD was in the CP last year and she only received the complimentary passes. CPers do not get a maingate pass. Your daughter can book you in a room at a good price. She'll need to be at checkin when you arrive. She can also take you to the property control area where CM's can shop.

Actually you daughter doesn't need to be there when you check in. She can either fax in the info or drop it off before you get there. Just in case she is working when you arrive...
