Ques & advice Tours and Dinner w/Shamu

Help! opinions and advice please!! my 8 year old is obsessed with Sea life!! been to SW several years ago, and thought this year we would do some tours (she is unfortunately not old enough for the dolphin nursery tour). She wants to learn all about the animals. I am concerned having read previous post about not having a good tour with the penguins.

Booked Dinner w/Shamu, the 6 hour tour and then the next day we were going back to do the 1hr tours of sharks and penguins. I am worried.. please advise.. I am expecting well informed tours.... can you all tell me about each of these experiences?

We did the penguin tour about 4 years ago and thought it was great. Very informative and dd loved touching the penguin. On two seperate occasions we have dined with Shamu with the first year being the best. On the second occasion, in my opinion they have got too greedy, too many tables have been squashed in and everybody is scrambling to get to the waters edge for a better view. The food was good, plenty of variation and lots of it.
