Query........HelP....please

I am planing a Disney wedding for summer 2004, as it stands now, I know I will not meet the room stay requirement. I was looking to reserve our 1st night at the Gran Floridian on my own, it's listed @ $500.00. We both want to make the 4 day Bahamas cruise part of our honeymoon, our counselor stated that neither of those two stated expences will count toward our requirements. ......my questions are:
--How can secure this 1st night at possibly a lesser rate?
--Is there a way to attain a "romance package" like arragemnet withing the $ 600.00 range listed for packages in the Categories 2 - 3? and lastly;
--Other than the price, what are the "real" diferences between the so called deluxe state room with veranda placed in diferent decks? In the diagrams they look identical..........please help, thanks.

Wait it out and hope for a code. Can't imagine the rate not coming down from that. Someone on the resort board may give better insight.

Don't know much about this package, but from what I've seen, you can order things ala carte and overall cost would be cheaper. You can also pinpoint exactly what you want. Someone who has experienced pckgs will be able to help more.

I would wait a bit to see if the rates go down at all on the Grand Floridian. From your location, it appears that you are in the US Army. Did you inquire about any military discounts?

I'm not sure what you are asking in your second question. I do recall there were some kind of package "romance" deals, but don't have the info with me.

As for the difference in cabins..... the category 4 cabins, on deck 8, are about 4 feet longer (near the verandah) than the category 5 and 6 cabins. That extra space is so that the bed that is stored in the wall can be folded down. The cat 5 and 6 cabins are identical, just on different decks (cat 5 on 7 and cat 6 on 6).
