Query - AA restaurant discounts at WDW

Hello

I have heard that if you show your AA card you can get discounts does this apply to WDW restaurants too? Has anyone got any experience to share?

We fancy booking some ADRs and just wondered as I think you can get discounts at Universal.

I have heard some at Universal offer a discount but we have AP so never tried.
Not heard of any at Disney, didn't know about E of S but its not somewhere we like.
I tried at Mimis Cafe(shows 10% disc on AAA website) a few days ago, when it came to paying I told the server I would like AAA discount, showed him my card, he took it looked at it, he was a total blank, tried explaining but gave up, too much hassle for sake of $4.

cant help with Disney discounts, perhaps worth looking at AAA/AA's site.

We managed to get plenty of discounts in Universals shops.
we just asked them if they did the AAA discounts, when they said they did.
we showed the card and said it was the UK equivalent and pointed to the logo on the back.
I think the 1st shop they need to get a manager to help them, the manager did it easy. We listened in on the instructions, just so we could help them out in the next shop but we didnt have any problems.
