Queens in all Standard Beach Club Rooms:Some Double?

Are there 2 Queens in All Standard BC Rooms?

Thought I read a thread here regarding doubles in some?

There are a few rooms with double beds, because I've had one. The rooms at BC are not all standard size. Some of them are slightly smaller than others. When you have the double beds, it gives the appearance of the same size room, because the floor space is about the same. The room we had with the two doubles was by one of the corner entrances from the quiet pool, on the first floor. If you look at the building, you can see that the patio for the room is recessed a couple feet from the room next door (presumably, to make the walkway wider). Since there were only two of us, it wasn't a big deal.

We had one, too.....not for long though because I wasn't a BC newbie and I knew this wasn't the norm. I called the front desk and got a new room

Ours was up above the front entrance....I don't remember much because we didn't stick around in there long - but I remember it was a parking lot view and I don't even think we had a balcony in that room at all.

I just called and added a request for queen beds. If I wanted to sleep in a double bed I would stay in a Value resort. (That is in no way a slam on the Values. The 3 of us do not fit comfortably in 2 double beds - we have tried.)

The room we had with two doubles also had the daybed, so three people would have been comfortable in the room (not sharing a bed). But I know not all rooms have a daybed at BC either, so perhaps it's best to put in the request for the queen beds.
