We're going down for a cruise at the end of May...so rules will probably change again before then....but at this moment if we tested positive at the port we would be denied boarding....how long do we have to wait before we can fly back to Canada? Is it 10 days currently? I'm just working on a backup plan in case. Cause I'm not confident port testing will be gone before our cruise. Thanks in advance!

10 days from the positive PCR test I believe. Not sure if an antigen test would count for that.
You must be cruising on Disney? I know RCL & Carnival require a pre cruise test but you do it yourself (unless unvaxxed which they don't seem to really allow outside of kids any way). I think Disney is doing PCR tests? So you'd be good there for the 10 days.

On the 11th day you would be good if the port test was PCR. The rules change with regards to returning with an rapid test Monday. It is unclear at this point what happens if you test positive with a PCR test then negative with a rapid test. Give it a couple of weeks to see how those changes play out.
Personally, I would be shocked if the same rules from Feb 28 were in play at the end of May.

10 days from positive molecular test. I would not rely on a negative antigen test to return to Canada if you catch Covid while travelling - I was still showing positive on a rapid antigen (Day 9) the night before my flight back to Canada.
