Can you give me an idea of how many formal/semi formal outfits to bring??????

(We plan to also hit Palos on an "off" nite & are HOPING to eat some of the sit down lunches & breakfasts in the regular diningrooms......)

I brought one formal and one semi formal. We ate at Palo on formal night though. I forget where we were on Semi Formal night. I wore a skirt and sweater to Lumiere's

One formal and one semi-formal outfit. I think also requests a jacket for gentlemen, but you'll be seated without as long as you are presentable. You could certainly wear the same outfir to Palo that you wear on semi-fromal night.

Breakfast and lunch are casual, they do require shoes/sandals, and request no bathing suits. We definitely wore shorts the one day we had breakfast there.

Dinner in the restaurants on other than formal/semi nights is resort casual, no shorts, jean, or tank tops wear chinos and golf shirts, ladies are in capris and blouses, sundresses, casual slacks. Lumiers has dropped the jacket requsested for men although most tend to dress up a little more for thsi restaurant than the others.

When was the jacket dropped? If this is the case then I will not have to pack DH sport jacket in addition to his suit. I know last year the jacket was dropped on our cruise for the first night because every regular rotation restaurant is casual in case people do not receive their luggage, but I thought on a regular rotaion, not semi formal or formal a jacket was still suggested.

The jacket at Palo has not been "dropped". But, when we were there in January they did seat people with polo shirts on. Just like the regular dining roatations, they do not really enforce the rules. My father had his jacket and looked very appropriate.

I brought 1 long black skirt and two dressy tops for formal and semi-formal nights. Worked out well. My husband mostly wore button downs and chinos to the other dinners. F/SF he wore a jacket, dress pants, and, just to be different, a flamming red bow tie.

I brought two formals, wore one each on formal and semi-formal night and repeated one at Palos. Dh rented a tux and wore it 3 times.

We'll do the same this year, we enjoy having the chance to dress up.

Also, we had early sitting so we did go back to the room and change on formal and semi-formal nights before we went to the show.
