Quality Suites Maingate East -feedback please?

We're looking at booking a 2-bedroom suite at Quality Suites Maingate East. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has stayed here, concerning the shuttle service to WDW and attractions, shopping facilities (grocery) available nearby, cleanliness of rooms, laundry facilities, how is the continental breakfast...anything you can share about your experience is much appreciated. The suite looks like it will suit the needs of our family group best, but would like to hear from someone who has stayed there.

We stayed there in Dec. for a week. Their were 2 adults and 4 teenage girls. The girls took the one bedroom and we took the other, with the bath attached. It worked out great. You are right by a 7-11 store, walgreens. They have a gift shop with pop. The breakfast and free drinks would of been great, but we were never there to use them. We did have it one morning and it was fine. We felt fine leaving the girls by the pool alone. Could see them from our room. I think they did a good job of cleaning the room each day. We only paid 55 anight, so I felt it was very well worth it. We had a car, so did not use the shuttle. Have fun

I would really like to know also. We are a family of 6 so that would be perfect. Right now i am booked at the comfort suites maingate east but would switch if it got decent reviews.

My family of 4 stayed here 2 years ago. We stayed in the 2 bedroom. The rooms and the hotel was fine if you like to be in the middle of all the action. The hotel is set back just a little off a busy road with a ton of tourist shops, restaurants and gas stations. Personally, we prefer to be a little more secluded. May I recomment Cypress Pointe. The 2 bedroom condo is huge, there is no pressure to attend a sales presentation and they have a nice pool area. You can book this for approximately $100 a night through Hotelkingdom.com. Good Luck.
