Quality Inn & Suites and Disney Dining Plan questions

Disney Dining Plan is only available with a package yes? I'm looking for about 3 days of vouchers, I'm looking to book at a good neighbor hotel, and I'm getting free park tickets from a friend so is it impossible for me to do this? I know it doesn't save money but prepaid meals would be so much easier.

Anyone ever stay at the Quality Inn? How far is the walk to the crosswalk? Two teens girls shouldn't have to worry right, nothing creepy?
It's so much cheaper then the other hotels just want to make sure it's clean. Not looking for anything fancy just a place to sleep for the night, gonna be at the parks the rest of the time!

The Dining plan at DL offers little value. To save money, since you are planning to stay offsite, have a few meals offsite.

I see you are a WDW Vet, the Disneyland dining vouchers are NOT a good deal. You pretty much are paying face value for them and if you don't spend the entire value of the voucher you lose it and if you go over the value you have to pay the difference. You are much better off buying disney giftcard or even just paying as you go.

As far as the quality inn, the walk could be better but isn't bad. You'll be fine. The freeway I-5 is next to it and makes some noise.

Will you have a car? Does it have free parking, many hotels there do others charge a little or a lot, also resort fee can be a little or a lot.

The walk is the same walk you would have from the end of Howard Johnson - not creepy, you are walking past hotels and a Mimi's restaurant.

The hotel is actually very clean; I was impressed. Here are a few pics. Sorry, they are from my cell phone so not the greatest.

Parking is $1.00 plus (15%) tax. "Resort" fee is $5.00 plus (15%) tax.

Stay away from the dining plan ~ if you want to "pre pay" for meals purchase Disney Gift Cards. They ship for free from *here* & *here*

I add $$ to my Disney Gift Cards by calling DelivEARS ~800-362-4533 *you give the CM your credit/debit card info and they mail you the receipt. Last time I did this *a couple months ago* the $$ was on the GC the next day.

Yeah I know the DP doesn't save any money I was mostly looking at as a way to make it easier to pay for meals- going with a friend and instead of having the giftcards/cash and continually trying to split it we would each just use one voucher each. But hey no biggie just seeing if it was possible.
