We've booked our room there and was wondering if anyone had ever stayed there? When we called to ask them some questions, the girl that answered was VERY nice and friendly. She told us that are located across from the Disneyland Hotel and within walking distance tot he parks. She said something about going through DTD.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

I haven't stayed there, but did read a lot of mixed reviews on tripadvisor.com You may want to read those, and look at the photos actual travelers have taken. I always look there when looking at a new hotel, has saved me from some really bad ones!

Enjoy your trip!

were booked there in april. ya don't go thru DTD, thats on the other side of Disney. you'll go past the fairfield inn and some restaurants going south on harbor. walk down to the crosswalk (following the herd of other Disney guest) cross harbor, taking you straight to the pedestrian entrance
. please have all carry bags open and all zipperd pockets open, present ticket and bobs your uncle. :cool2:

have fun Bye Don

Actually the Quality Inn Anaheim that she is asking about IS through DTD. The Quality Inn and Suites is just past the Hojo on Harbor

Clairabell is right - there's more than one Quality Inn in the area. The one OP is asking about is different than the one near HoJo's. The Quality Inn I have stayed at is the one near HoJo's (on South Manchester).

You would walk through DTD, turn left towards Katella, then make a slight right and it's right there, not sure what side of the road, though. I've never stayed there, but was looking at it for this trip. :goodvibes

The one we're booked at is on Katella.

Go East on Katella. North on either side of Disneyland Dr. I'd pick the shady or sunny side. Just make sure you cross at the next intersection to the west side of Disneyland Drive. Take the sidewalk into the GCH entrance. Go in the hotel at the front doors.

Go to your left past the front desk and keep heading North out of the Hotel into DTD. It's about 100 yards to the west until you get to the gates.

Will take about 15 minutes.

I thought I made a mistake once, but I was mistaken. so this is my first official mistake this hour. but If you ever stay on the east side of Disney this how you could do it. lol. anyway have a blast.:worship:

My daughter and I are also staying here, April 6 - 10, and I was wondering the same thing. I read the reviews on Tripadvisor and they are about 50/50. This has me worried so any help advice would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone stayed at the Quality Inn on South Manchester? We got an unreal rate! They have some great review on Trip Advisor and some not so great. We just need a clean room!

Just wondering if anyone here had some first hand experience. :cool2:

We have stayed at Quality Inn on Manchester twice - I was happy with the hotel, especially compared to some hotels I have paid more money for.

Don't expect a fancy hotel - it is actually a motel style hotel - all rooms open to outdoor courtyards. The rooms are a decent size - last year we stayed there at the tail end of a two week holiday and with all our luggage it was a bit tight, but this time we only had two carry-ons, so it was much better. Each room has a small fridge (empty), microwave, iron, ironing board, hairdryer (weak), coffee maker and phone.

The toilet and tub are in a separate room, the sink is in the main room, which was great for us as I could be doing my hair while hubby is taking a shower.

The breakfast was great for us - make your own waffles, toast, english muffins, hard boiled eggs, 3 kinds of cereal, milk, juice and coffee. Oh and donuts and danishes too. This time around we were in room 3104 - right across from the breakfast room, which would have been bad if we wanted to sleep in, there is tables in the courtyard and you could hear the chairs scraping and people talking.

It is about 15-20 minutes to walk to the parks (actually inside them, not just the gate), which made it great to go back to the hotel for a nap before hitting the parks in the evenings. Between the hotel and the parks, there is a McDonalds and Mimi's Cafe (highly recommend this place) as well as another bakery/cafe type place that I have never tried. My husband hates leaving food on his plate at restaurants, and he didn't finish his dinner at Mimi's, which tells you how good and filling the food is. The meal for the two of us came to under $30 (I think we only drank water though), and I was STUFFED).

Let me know if you have any more questions...

Allie

This is the best news I have gotten ALL day! Thank you so much. I figured the place must be a roach motel since our package was so cheap! (I work in travel so when I see a rate that I book immediately it is a great rate!! LOL)
