Quality inn plaza(idrive)

We are staying there this year, normally stay at the quality inn international but opted for the plaza on the grounds there is a playground. Has anyone been there recently. We are flying virgin and are part of the frequent virgin programme so hoping for a good room.

Any info would be great.

went there last september,also been to quality inn intrnational,
both have almost same layout.
the plaza is bigger,very clean and relaxed.
it is right opposit pointe orlando,
try lulus bait shack for a good night out
or dan marinos town tavern for a good meal.
hooters do good food as well.
we liked it so we are going back to the plaza
in november .

i have been to the quality in plaza 6 times ..its great value for your money .we just got back from there this january and it was great .it has 3 pools ,bar,24hr shop,games room and a playground .It is also round some good reasturants including olive garden ,tony romas ,right next to pizza hut and many more not forgetting the pointe orlando reasturants and shops as iain66 says but over all i cant think of a better hotel .hope ive been helpfull jessx

we went in feb and i have to say will never be back. There were bugs in the rooms we got the first time, it looked distinctly tired and in desperate need of a clean and refurb. once they had finally given us another room - which was incidently a room which we had requested(in the executive section in block f) the room was better but that is all i can say.

the heated pool was only heated twice, and even then only when they could be bothered.

we will not be using it again.
