Cheers IAN 5150

Nip over to trip advisor, there is a section where you can read reviews from people who have stayed there. You may find your answer there if no one gets back to you here. :)

Hi we went last year and they still did the buffet. My 11 year old was still classed as a kid, but because we booked via virgin, i think if your child is over this then they will inform thehotel that the child is infact an adult if that makes sense. We only used it for the kids eat free offer and we hada card we had to show.In the brochure or next year. it still seems to be the case.

oddjob, are you going soon. i will be staying there in a week and a half. i posted this same question a few weeks back, and didn't really get any response. i did get pm saying it was basic but nice. there a Macdonalds behind it, a Denny's next door. appparently the food is also good. if you are going after i get back, i'll let you know how it goes

Hello Oddjob

I will be staying here with my family between 14th - 28th Dec so any feedback would be good.

Hi laura Ive stayed there 4 times before last time was 2 years ago And we used the buffet a lot as it was great value thats why i wanted to know it was still going.

Hi Sharon! Were staying Dec 3-17 So we might see you there!!!

You hear a lot of complaints about the place a lot are unfounded in my opinion,Its a great Family hotel in a superb location

Ian

If you see a woman (mid 30's) with short blonde hair, with 2 boys (12yr & 4yr) with a very mad LOUD laugh call out my name because it will probably be ME  i'm one of those people once met never forgotten

I'll be happy with the hotel as long as the room is clean, I don't plan too spend much time there, i'll be far too busy enjoying myself at different parks :teeth:

thankyou for putting my mind at rest. i've heard a few bad things about this place, but also heard that its improved since changing hands (however long ago that was). it can't be that bad if you've gone back. quite relieved as well becuse we were originally due to stay at Days inn lakeside, but our tour operator is no longer using it and moved us to Quality international. since heard dredful things about Days inn lakeside, sounds like it wasn't a bad change.....
back to the original question, i've been on Quality inn international website, and i beleive that it mentioned that there was a buffet, and kids eat free with paying adult

I stayed at the Quality Inn International in April this year and we had no problems whatsoever. The age for the childrens buffet was under 12.

Hi Ian.

Stayed here last year, and hotel is absolutely fine. Rooms are basic, but clean, and it is a godsend having a fridge in the room. The buffet is pretty decent at breakfast (didn't use it for dinner), and if you travel there with Virgin, each adult gets 2 vouchers for free breakfasts.
As someone already stated, there is a MaccieD's and a Denny's right next to the hotel, and directly across Sand Lake Road is a branch of Golden Corral. This is the place to go for top notch all-you-can-eat buffet breakfasts and dinners. The price is very cheap, and the quality and choice is excellent. The food stretches as far as the eye can see!

Happy holidays.
Cheers, Carl.

Sounds good too me :earsgirl: i'm not too bothered about the room being basic, i'll be putting a few chrimbo decorations up to make it more festive for me DH and my 2 DS - only another 12 weeks 1 day to go and counting
