Anyone got any comments about the Quality Inn International
Staying there soon and hope its what we are expecting

although there is time to change

Stayed there in 96. It is basically a motel. We found it adequete for our needs during that stay but I don't think I would stay there again.

However I don't wish to put you off, it is very dependent on what your expectations are.

Stayed there in January 02 - Would not stay there again. Rooms were desperate for refurbishment, it was noisy and the whole place does not look like a hotel, more like a run down apartment block. It as clean however and the restaurant was very cheap.

Hi Issridd,

We stayed at the Quality inn International in 2000 and 2001.

We enjoyed our stay here the first year. It is a basic hotel.
2 beds, table and chairs, tv, separate vanity area from bathroom
and an in room safe. It was clean and in fairly good condition.
BUT.....
The second year our stay wasn't nearly as good.
We had a corner room which we thought would be a good thing
but we were wrong. VERY NOISY!!!!
This room was in need of some industrial cleaning!!

There were HAIRNESTS in the corners of the bathroom floor. The
carpet had stains on it and the sheets on the beds allways seemed to have some foreign hairs on them even when they
had just changed the sheets.
To top that all off.........

A couple of days before we were to check out, they came in to
steam clean the carpets(you would think a good thing right?)
WRONG!!
The carpet was wet for the rest of our stay, So we always had to wear our shoes so our socks wouldn't get wet, and it felt really
damp in there.

I think I should also mention their laundry room was disgraceful.
3 washers-3 dryers. Only one of each worked properly. Either
not enough water pressure or did not dry the clothes.

We had pre booked a package here in Canada and paid in full
So its not like we could afford to go to another hotel, because if
we could have we would have ran!!!
I know hotel reviews are reletive to each individual and that this
might have been an isolated incident. But we will never go back.
We now refer to this hotel as the "THE HAIRNEST MOTEL"
