Hi all!

Just wondering if anyone has stayed here? We have reservations with a good rate, but I'm worried since I haven't heard anything about this hotel. How's the walk to DL? Room quality?

Thanks in advance!:thumbsup2

This is a decent hotel since they upgraded the Penny Sleeper. The inexpensive hotels that are across the street from the main entrance are a lot of older hotels that have been there since the park opened so expect them to be dated on the outside. I'd say they're all very clean in the rooms and the ameneties are on par with every generic hotel you've ever been in. Expect a brief stroll to the park. There isn't a lot of shade but as long as the temps are below 100 degrees a bottle of water will get you there.

I wouldn't worry about the hotel. If you're not picky you'll be pleased with the room. You may hear horror stories about bedbugs but I wouldn't worry. I've stayed at the so-called bedbug hotels a couple times and I have yet to experience a bite.

I think Hydroguy has a run down of most of the hotels. If you haven't read them yet I'm sure he'll post a link here eventually.

I stayed there last February. It was a nice little hotel. Nothing extravagant but our room was HUGE. On the downside, the bathroom was really tiny. Pretty much the width of a toilet and shower and that's it. The sinks are in the room. We had a pool view room and it was nice. The only disadvantage is that this hotel is literally right up next to I5 so noise could be an issue during the day (but who cares, you'll be in the park). I didn't notice much noise at night.

It's only a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the Park entrance. I've had longer walks from my hotel room to the bus stop when at Disney World. For the money, this place is definitely a good place to stay. We're staying there again in October.

Also, if you're hungry, there's a Mimi's right next door.
