Ok. I did a board search,& found this :disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2474599&highlight=espresso

Does the Italy showcase not have any authentic Italian espresso drinks? I saw the stands mentioned in the above thread... but didn't try them. Was hoping to find something in Italy... but the posts on here don't seem too optimistic.

Thank you!

I didn't even look around Morocco much -- when we went to Epcot, we went through the UK, some of Italy, Japan... and pretty much glossed over the other showcases. It's definitely on my list to spend a little more time in each one this time.

Kinda surprises me that Morocco would have really good espresso. I guess I just don't know much about it!

I think the history of coffee in all areas surrounding the Mediterranean is a very long one.

There are lots of people who post, who say a CS meal at Tangierine Cafe is one of the best at WDW. A very good value if you have free dining. People love the Shawarma Platters, which can be chicken or lamb, or combo of both.

They also make a Moroccan mint tea that is delicious, especially iced.

:)

We are on the DDP where you get 1 snack, 1 TS and 1 QS a day, is that what you mean?

And you had me at mint tea....That and the coffee is enough reason for me! :)

I think I need to look into this place. I don't believe I've tried Moroccan food yet. My DH is all about tying new things. I am... but am picky a LOT of the time.

It's a lot of food on the plate. You and DH could share one order, in case you taste it and it is outside your comfort zone. I think the dessert you get on the DDP is Baklava, which you might know from Greek food. The mint tea and coffee should be something you would enjoy. Good eating! :)
