Quality & Cost of Cribs Provided by Resorts?

I was just wondering how good/nice the cribs that are provided by the Resorts are and if they are free (although I think I read that they are?)

I've got some pretty scary looking cribs given to me at hotels and while I would assume Disney's are nicer and safer, I thought I better ask you guys.

My SIL was thinking about renting a Pack n' Play from an Orlando rental company for my 2 year old nephew, but I'd hate for her to pay for one if it isn't necessary.

We are staying at POFQ if that makes any difference.

I believe they are the pack and play cribs and I believe they are free.

They are Pack n' Play cribs. I would bring your own sheet and blanket. It might help your nephew sleep better.

I've just asked this on the family board and everyone has said they are fine. They are also free.

Last year at the Poly, they brought a wooden crib in the room. It wasn't a full-size crib, but it was higher off the floor and was better for sleeping in than the pack and play we brought. My DD refuses to sleep in the pack and plays, but we brought it to put her in it while we were getting ready, etc.

Mousekeeping changed the sheet (decorated with the Fab 5) everyday that was in the crib. I don't know if this is something only available at the Poly, or if it's standard in all deluxes. We stayed one night at POR before moving to the Poly and requested a crib, and mousekeeping brought in a pack and play. So might want to call your resort ahead of time, to find out what they use...
