DSis, me and DD are headed to DW in December. Last trip I already had a ticket so we did not get a package and just ate whatever we came upon. This trip we are probably getting a package so I figure it might be easier to add on a dining plan. I am thinking maybe the quick service dining plan makes more sense for us, since we will be traveling with a toddler, but at the same time, since we are going in December, will we really need 2 snacks a day per person? Last trip (in September) we brought snacks along and ate next to none of them, but did both purchase the mugs. This trip we will have a stroller so carrying snacks/drinks will be easier. Urgh, decisions decisions......

When you compare dining plans, the Quick Service one is really not worth the price, you may actually end up losing money. The Basic Plan actually is the better deal. As for snack credit. You can get Bottles of drinks and water with the credits, which you will get more use out of inside the parks

Quick Service Plan
Adults $29.99 per person per night; children 3-9 $8.99 per person per night

Are you really going to eat $30 bucks worth of Counter Service a Day per person? I can't!
I normally can't eat desert on top of the meal, so I don;t find the plan suitable for me. I'd rather pay OOP, split meals, spend less.

the regular dining plan is better because you can "Squeeze" every penny out it with just the sit-down meal, especially if you have dinner where prices are higher. On my last trip my receipts came up on the plus side by almost $60 plus I had a leftover CS. Not bad!
