Well, today I booked a last minute trip for myself and DS16. We will be at POP, next week, and are using the QSDP. I am wondering about the food court at POP, If we get a lunch or dinner there, what choices do we have for our dessert that is included in the meal? Can we choose any of the desserts that are there, or are we limited to a certain few? And can we use a snack credit at the food court? I have had CS meals in the parks, but not at a resort, so I am not sure about that. Also, can we get bottled water or bottled soda for our CS drink? Or is it only fountain drinks? Thanks!

Thanks for asking this, I am also awaiting a reply. I just bought QSDP today for a late August trip, and also to POP!

Check out menus available at www.allears.net, Pop has a great food court and you will enjoy eating there. Also, if you want ice cream for dessert, let the cashier know. They will stamp the back of your receipt and then you have 90 minutes to return to get your ice cream. We had QSDP in Oct at Pop and had a bunch of choices. ENJOY!

Thanks for the info about QSDP at POP. I assume that the tye-dye cheesecake can count as a dessert. That's really all I need :lovestruc

The Pop Food Service is (IMHO) one of the best resort CS restaurant in the resort.

For desserts, you can get a lot of the different foods that are snack credits as desserts. This includes anything from the bakery rack, fridge, ice cream counter, freezer and allergy rack. The only snacks that we encountered that we couldn't use as desserts were the boxed cookies/crackers above the popsicle freezer and the krispy rice treats by Minnie Baking Co (the Mickey shaped ones on sticks made in-house were allowed).

Yup, tie-die cheesecase is DEFINITELY allowed. Be aware that the next day that the rainbow colours of the cheesecake and the red velvet cake can have some unexpected psychedelic results on the way out.

One of my favourites was the ice cream sundae. 3 scoops of whichever combination of flavours of ice cream that you want with as many toppings as you want. YUMMY!!

YES!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Seriously though, we love Pop for QS meals. There are plenty of desserts (and entrees for that matter) to choose from.

Ah yes, POP does have one of the best food courts on property.

You will find plenty of choices, too many really...lol I always have a hard time deciding. DH is usually at the table eating by the time I arrive at what I want. :lmao:

The sundae thing is great. Also know they have what is called "Mom's night out dinners" every night. Each night is a different entree, like fried chicken, meatloaf, turkey and the fixins...servered old fashioned style like a tv dinner.
But very good. :)

What about breakfasts at POP? QSDP says an entree, OJ and another non-alcoholic beverage. I've heard you can get an entree, OJ and fruit or entree, OJ and snack(muffin, cinnemon roll, etc). Cereal and milk are considered a snack credit? Any info?

your drink with a CS meal? can it be a bottled drink, or only a fountain drink?

It can be one or the other. Just remeber you get the refill mugs with the QSDP. So we just grab waters or juice and use them later.

That is exactly what I was hoping for! I plan on using my mug for mealtime, and getting a bottled water to take to the parks with me. I would rather use my snack credits on snacks, not drinks! LOL!

POP is great and have a ton of dessert options, besides sundaes they have the frozen novelties as well like the Mickey bars, juice bars, etc. They also had cheesecake, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, danishes, etc.

For breakfast we could get a platter and 2 drinks (bottled is what we would get) or a platter, a pastry, and a drink, or a platter, fruit, and drink. Yes, 1 snack credit was used for cereal and a small milk (my niece did this a few times)

Can I just say 2 :thumbsup2 to the QSDP?!?!

We have been here for 3.5 days, (taking a rest day now) and between 6 of us on the QSDP our meals WOULD have added up to over $1100 so far... We are eating well, and enjoying the food.. But my meal at Tangerine Cafe alone last night would have been $22 (Lamb/Chicken Shwarma combo, with a baklava and glass of Lemonade) multiply that by 6 of us thats $130!!!

I figure at this rate, our entire trip will be paid off just in food!! :rotfl:
