Since you are getting a dining plan for free, now would be the time to try out the expensive quick service locations.
Actually, your resort has Pepper Market which is one of the more expensive quick service locations at Disney (depending on options you choose).
Keep in mind that pepper market is set up almost like a table service restaurant though so there is a tip involved.
Boardwalk area has almost nothing really beside pool bars for cold premade sandwiches for quick service (ridiculous actually).
Downtown Disney definitely Wolfgang pucks (the westside location has limited items available).
Earl of Sandwich is excellent but very cheap and not the best use of a dining credit. But still very good.
Bongos cafe walk up window on the Westside is also a quick service location now. We've enjoyed it but not sure if the menu has changed now with them joining the dining plan.
Pollo Campero (chicken) is available at the market place and is ok.
One of our favorite places in DTD for quick service is cookes of dublin (in the pleasure island section). Really good and a great use of a dining credit.
