QSDP Price question

I don't have time to call WDW today, so thought I'd post here - I just added the QSDP to my reservations - I have 2 ressies at Pop next week because I couldn't get my 3rd night on AP discount, had to pay rack rate - so I have 2 nights at Pop on the QSDP, then a third night I had to add the QSDP separately. They emailed me my invoice without a breakdown, so I just subtracted my original room prices to get my QSDP price for the two of us. The first two nights, with tax, the QSDP cost is $39.49 each. When I do it for the 3rd night (separate ressie) it comes out to $43.94 each????? What's the deal? Does it cost more because it's only for one night? What is the tax rate in Florida, that might help me figure it out. Any guesses why it's $8 more for the extra night? Thanks DIS'ers!

My guess is that the price is the same for each QSDP, but the last-minute surcharge for changing your reservation (for each reservation!) this close to arrival is included in those prices -- the first one you're spreading out over 2 nights while the second one you're accounting for in a single night.

But there shouldn't be a surcharge, especially more on the 3rd night, which is further away - she told me I was still within my 5 day window when I changed it yesterday.

There's a package change fee for any changes made in the last 2 weeks (I believe) before arrival. Since you have two packages, that's two change fees.
