QSDP or upgrade to DDP?

We are traveling Dec 13-20 staying at ASMu Family suites. We booked free dining, entitling us to the QSDP. I am trying to decide if we should upgrade to DDP. Our party is myself, DH, Dsis, Dson(9) & DD(1). My initial thought was to keep QS as I didn't want to be tied down to any particular time or place we needed to be since we are traveling with such a young child. However, when I started thinking about it, maybe upgrading is a good idea. We want to do Candlelight Processional(want to do & willing to pay OOP), a Fantasmic package & a character meal(same as CP) . I thought with the baby, booking FP & CP would just make things easier, not having to wait in the long lines. Am I correct that these would make the upgrade cost a wash? Any input is appreciated. Thanks for any & all help.

ps I know that candlelight will most likely be 2 TS credits

First you want to find out if there is a holiday surcharge for the dining plan at the time you are going.

This could increase the price for you, if there is.

With only one buffet, it could be cheaper to pay out of pocket. You need to check out the prices at the places you plan on eating at and see what you think you would get to find out if upgrading to DDP is a good idea.

You also need to see if you can book any of the ADR's you want.
