i'm thinking about only doing the QSDP and pay for 3 character meals OOP. This is my first trip with 3 kids (11, 7, 1.5) i think planning TS meals for everyday is gonna be way to much time away from the parks for their 1st visit. it only comes out like a 30$ difference between QSDP and DP...i need help in deciding...

We have used the DDP for the last few years and only pre book the Character meals and a few we know we don't want to miss. The rest we just walk up or have booked the night before from the resort. We average a 12-14 day trip and only have about 5 or 6 meals planned. Have yet to be turned away from a TS yet. If it's only $30 in the difference that's about 1 Character meal for 1 adult out of pocket not counting tip.

well i figured Chef Mickey, Ohana, and Play n Dine, total of 92.33 for adult theres 3 of us and 49.25 for 1 child= $326.24 not including tip. QSDP is 34.99 x 7 nights x 3 adults= 734.79 + 1 child=83.92===$818.71 + OOP $326.24=$1144.95 DP= 51.54 x7 x3 =$1082.34 + 105.14 Child==$1187.48
-------$42.53 Difference------
