We just got in last night and haven't uploaded my pictures yet.
However, we were in WDW 9/15 - 9/22 and used the QSDP....first time at value and did not upgrade. For us, it wasn't a money thing, more that we did not want to make reservations and feel "tied down, or clock watching". It worked perfectly for us. Portions were large and very good.
It took us a couple of days to think about the best way to use our credits. We paid OOP for breakfast for me the first day as I had oatmeal. Then I started using a snack credit for oatmeal, fruit cup, or yogurt. DH likes eggs for breakfast so he used a meal credit. We split lunch and both ordered dinners. Many places we were able to get fruit for dessert if we didn't want a sweet dessert. Also, we had apple slices instead of french fries. We did not eat a burger, french fries, or chicken fingers the entire week...oh, no pizza either.
All but 2 of our breakfasts were at Pop...DH ordering eggs and I the fruit or yogurt. The other 2 breakfasts were AoA and Main Street Bakery. I went all out at AoA and had make your own yogurt parfait, DH make your own omelette. Both very good. At Main Street Bakery, I had fruit and DH had a croissant egg sandwich.
First day lunch was at AoA. DH had a buffalo turkey sandwich and took a fruit cup for dessert...we split both. He liked the sandwich, although, it tasted good, the bread was too thick for me.
First day dinner was at Earl of Sandwich - first time there and loved it. I had a roast beef (I believe classic) with horseradish and DH had roast beef (Montagu?)...not sure what was on his but both were excellent. I chose a fruit cup for dessert and he had chocolate pudding.
2nd day - Lunch at Pecos Bill. We shared a salad and a yogurt.
2nd day dinner - POR I had a create your own salad and DH had create your own pasta. Both very good.
3rd day Lunch - Whispering Canyon as we were on the Backstage Magic tour. Lunch was the skillet...enjoyable.
3rd day dinner - POFQ I had create your own salad (surprise!) and DH had pasta again. Aren't we creative???
4th day Lunch - Sunshine Seasons turkey and monterrey jack on chiabatta excellent
4th day dinner - Contempo Cafe I had marinated beef flatbread with fruit cup as dessert. DH had pasta with chicken basil creme sauce
5th day lunch - ABC Commisary Asian Salad We both really enjoyed that.
5th day dinner - Kringla Bakery Norway We both had the ham/apple sandwich and loved it. This time we didn't have fruit for dessert...I had a chocolate chip cookie and DH had cheesecake.
6th day lunch - Pizzafari - Caeser salad with chicken very good.
6th day dinner - Wolfgang Puck Express I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf which comes on mashed potatoes and has onion strings on top. DH had Spaghetti and meatballs (loves his pasta!). We loved our meals.
7th day We wound up skipping lunch and just snacking
7th day dinner - Back to Wolfgang Puck Express I had spinach salad and DH had 1/2 rotisserie chicken. We enjoyed both and we actually had a real dessert....frozen yogurt.
Last day - had a late lunch/early dinner back at Earl of Sandwich I had the oriental chicken salad wrap DH had Hawaiian BBQ sandwich. Both were excellent.
Well, that is a quick run down of our meals. If anyone is questioning if it is enough food....my answer is yes. We had extra snack credits to use and got a couple of snacks and a drink. The snacks were for the plane and we had the drink on the bus going to the airport.
Hope this helps someone who is deciding about the QSDP.
