I like to think the DP is a nice compliment to my vacation, but I am not driven by it. Meaning...don't waste a lot of time running around trying to get the best bang for your buck on a DP credit.
That being said, you can get some nice meals with your QS credits. Seems each of the resort food courts have some variation of a big platter that was always plenty of food for me and my nephew to share--he ate the bacon and waffles and I had the eggs and toast.
Two of my favs are the create your own pasta at the POR food court and the
meals at Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD. There is some fun entertainment in the lounge at POR and if I am not staying there sometimes I time my dinner with the entertainment.
I think the food at Flame Tree Barbeque is a good value for a QS credit. I enjoy the turkey sandwich and I know you can get ribs there as well with your QS credit. Cosmic Rays at MK also has a pretty good sized rib and chicken platters. I like the fare at Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcot--not for the volume but for the variety of healthier choices.
