I've read a bunch, but I am still confused about using a CS credit for breakfast. I know I can get a breakfast platter and two drinks, or a breakfast sandwich and two drinks. I have also heard that sometimes at the hotel food courts they will let you sub a yogurt or fruit cup for one of the drinks.

But what if I want a cinnamon roll or muffin? Can I get two? One and a fruit cup? (BTW, I know you can use a snack credit to get a cinnamon roll, but I am trying to work out using up CS credits.)

Thanks!

I have heard a few people mention that they managed to sub a yogurt for a drink but these reports are so few and random that it is safest to take it as a rare exception to the rule.

What you can do with a CS is usually get a continental style breakfast, like 2 items such as a muffin or bagel, pastries, a fruit bowl, yogurt, etc. and then your two drinks. You are really just subbing the 2 cold "sides" instead of a platter or typical breakfast. Always ask first just to be sure. Mostly it is not a problem. Occasionally there may just be a CM who says no. If that happens, ask someone else. ;)

Just an FYI: you might just want to price out what the cash cost would be on a CS breakfast...if you're trying to get the most bang for your buck, usually lunch & dinner CS are much higher cost and your better deal with spending CS credits.

Breakfast items tend to be the cheapest (including breakfast platters...generally a lot cheaper than a lunch/dinner combo or platter) If you have the refillable mug to get your beverage with, you can generally get a couple of items like a cinnamon roll & piece of fruit for $5. No way you're going to get a lunch or dinner CS for that.

Good point. I didn't even think to mention that. I was under the impression that the OP was trying to find ways to burn CS credits. I am trying to do the same so one-track mind. ;)

What we do alot for breakfast is we have the mug for a coffee and use a snack credit for a cinnamon bun or blueberry muffin.

We almost never use our CS for breakfast. My favorite meal in all of Disney is the Kids Mickey waffles breakfast. So it is much cheaper than an adult entree (and I so don't need two drinks and a refillable mug...unless I get water to take to the parks.) Or when I need a change I'll get a breakfast pastry and some coffee in my refillable mug! $2.50 well spent. Then I will go to Flame Tree with my CS and get a $20 ribs/drink/dessert meal!
