QS without mobile ordering???

From what I have been able to find, it appears that it is not possible to place an order at most quick service locations at all without using mobile order. Can anyone confirm this? Is there a cast member available for those who wish to order in person? My son and I have food allergies and it can get complicated and it is very important that we confirm that a menu item is safe for us. We have been to WDW many times and have always appreciated being able to check with a cast member and consult an allergy book when in doubt about menu items.

Let the CM at the door know you need to order in person because of allergies. You can still order in person, they just want most people to mobile order to keep crowds down at registers.

And not all places have mobile order either. Someone suggested to me to check the MDE app and check to see which places I could order from and it is not every place you can get food. But I was shocked that something as simple as the Milk Stand in GE offered mobile order, yet only two places in all of EPCOT seemed to have mobile order. At least if my info is right.

There are some QS locations closed at Epcot, and a few in the World Showcase are operated by third parties.

Depending on the location and your situation, you may just speak with a cm outside before hitting prepare my order. That was the procedure at DB7. I confirmed the kids dippers and edible soil dish was in fact vegan except for ranch dressing, despite the fact that it’s not labeled as such. He wrote down my order number and went back to the kitchen to tell them to leave off the ranch.
