QS or TS lunch after character breakfast?

My family hopes to secure an early Chef Mickey's breakfast before our MK day. We've never done them, and I'm not sure how focused my 4yo and 2yo will be on eating. They are solid eaters in general but may be distracted by the fab five. My question is, should I also plan on scheduling a lunch that day, or would QS be a better option? My concern is being too full from the breakfast to eat a meal at a table service restaurant.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I would choose QS. Even if they don't eat great, they will be just fine eating lunch at a QS and they may not want to sit through two sit down meals so close together AND the adults will not want another big meal so soon. Character meals were a toss up for us when my boys were little. They really liked buffets in general, but it was hard to sit still and eat when Mickey is coming! Reality is my boys just never ate good in general at WDW.....just too much going on. We just went with the flow!

That's what I'm hoping. Late lunch/brunch a snack to carry them over, then TS for dinner. Fingers crossed they aren't starving all day.

QS, for sure. Snacks, absolutely. But after spending that much time devoted to sitting at a meal, you won't want to devote another hour+ at lunch. That's like maybe 3 hours sitting at meals when you could be spending that time on park attractions. Remember, time is money.

If a child is hungry at Disney at all, they're doing something wrong, LOL. They'll be fine.

We just got back and my 2 yo is a good eater. We did do TS for all 3 meals and he ate well. I found it was harder in the parks when he didn't eat because he got cranky. While we were there we did quite a few character breakfasts and he still faithfully ate at lunch and dinner. Have a great time.

Thanks for all of your input, I really appreciate it. Still not sure what we'll do, but regardless, I don't think we'll go hungry!

I'm not a fan of QS at MK. I just find them super crowded and it's difficult to find a table. I prefer a light TS meal at LTT (colony salad) or The Plaza. At least you're guaranteed a table!

Agree that QS at MK can be a pain but I think QS is the best options after Chef Mickeys. We tend to be full after character meals and a QS meal works for us.
