I'm over the theme park burgers and chicken fingers...

Last trip we really enjoyed a QS dinner at DTD in wolfgang Pucks-any other recommendations for a really good well worth it QS meal?

The food court at the POR has made to order pasta dishes and salads. It was a big hit with my whole family. Also, the bakery options for dessert (especially the Magic Cookie Bar) are great!

We like FlameTree BBQ in AK, and the Yak n Yeti counter service is decent. I've seen a handful of dining reviews for QSDP lately, and here are a few I'm excited to try for the first time:

Columbia Harbor House (MK - fish/shrimp/chicken, tuna sandwich, new lobster roll)
Contempo Cafe (Contemporary resort - interesting variety and good cupcakes)
We're staying at CBR, and have been told the food court there has some good choices (salmon, roast chicken).

Enjoy exploring new places! I know we're excited to make lunch more interesting than burgers and chicken nuggets!

I always thought that Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavilion in Epcot has lots of interesting choices. Then of course the World Showcase CS have lots of variety as well, I personally love the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco

Flame Tree at AK is a favourite of mine, and the Yak & Yeti CS at AK serves Chinese food.

I've actually never had a CS burger and only once tried a CS chicken fingers.

Here are some of my usuals:
-Hummus sandwich from Columbia Harbour House (MK)
-Turkey Club from Captain Cook's (Poly)
-Chicken Shwarma Platter from Tangierine Cafe (Epcot/WS)
-Hot Italian Sandwich from Pizzafari (DAK)
-Flatbread pizza from Mara (AKL)
-Anything from Earl of Sandwich (DTD)

Cooks Of Dublin in DTD for shrimp, fish or scallops.

We enjoy:

MK-Golden Oak Outpost- The chicken BLT on flat bread and the fried chicken breast sandwich.

AK- Yak&Yeti- Honey chicken and sweet and sour chicken

EPCOT- Rose and Crown at the fish shop- fish&chips&Harps:thumbsup2

DTD- Earl of Sandwich- The Caribbean jerk sandwich.

POP- The beef and blue sandwich

We also really like Sunshine Seasons at EP. I had some of the best tomato soup of my life there! However, their chinese selections didn't sit too well with DH or me!

We found Pizzafari at AK to be decent.

HS has a really good CS place... Backlot Express. I had a really good grilled veggie sandwich there.

We always wind up at Cosmic Rays for lunch at MK... not sure why... I think because there is usually plenty of seats...maybe this year we'll try something new from some of these suggestions!

There are lots of things besides burgers.
Sunshine Seasons FW Epcot
Yakitori House-WS Epcot I had sushi here for lunch one day last week
England-WS Epcot Fish and Chips shop can't remember name
Flame Tree BBQ- AK
Pinocchio Village Haus-Fantasyland MK we hadn't eaten here since 2005 so my DH tells me I don't remember and wish I had they have spaghetti and meatballs which my DS loved and we had chicken parm. which was very good
Earl of Sandwich-DTD awesome hot sandwiches
Rosie's all American Cafe- DHS near RnR has pizza with a salad
France's bakery has really good sandwiches on french bread or croissants

We love Columbia Harbor House at MK, Tangierine Cafe at Epcot and Flame Tree Barbecue at AK. Also, love Riverside Mill at POR.

I only had one burger on our last visit, and haven't had a CS chicken finger in years. Capt Cooks at the Poly and Gasperillas at the GF have lots of good choices. Gasperillas even has lobster mac and cheese!

AWESOME!!! Thanks for all the help. We are looking on the maps for these places now to better plan out trip. We always end up at Caseys or Electric umbrella or nasty pizza at pizzafari

As a rule of thumb, the resort CS locations always have more entree choices than the parks. And they have more things for dinner than for lunch. You don't need to be a resort guest to take Disney tranport to/from any park to a resort. POR has a great build-your-own pasta at dinnertime. Pepper Mkt in CSR is pretty unique with some big meal options; it's almost a cross between a CS and a TS location. You DO have to tip, but you are escorted to your own table and your server brings your beverages and refills, and clears the table afterwards.

MK - take the monorail to any of the 3 resorts and eat there. Contempo Cafe in the CR is fun because you eat with the monorail going by overhead. At Capt Cooks in the Poly (downstairs in the main building) they have some great Polynesian flavors (love the pulled pork sandwich on sweet bread) plus Dole Whip soft-serve is one of the dessert choices.

AK - Flame Tree has good BBQ ribs and chicken, including a very refreshing salad with BBQ chicken mixed in. Yak&Yeti CS has some decent asian options.

HS - I particulary like Starring Rolls Cafe. It's on the main street, tucked into the corner by HBD and the street leading to ToT. Wonderful sandwiches plus bakery items including the famous Butterfinger and Red Velvet cupcakes for your dessert choices.

Epcot - really, except for Electric Umbrella (yuck!) you can't go wrong. Just about every country in the WS has a CS meal location and some of them are better than the TS options. Or if you're in the front of the park in FW, as several others have mentioned, Sunshine Seasons is a nice food court in the downstairs area of The Land.

Epcot - Can't go wrong with sunshine seasons or the french bakery
Hollywood studios - Rolling stars cafe has good rather large sandwiches
Magic Kingdom - Cosmic rays has a good chicken and rib platter
Animal Kingdom - Flame tree Barbecue or Hot italian sandwich at pizzafari
Resort Counter Services have lots of good things to offer

We always enjoy Main Street Bakery (MK). They have either ham sandwiches or turkey - both are really big and then you can pick a dessert from their selection (yumm)

At POFQ they have Po'boys at lunch time (and beignets for dessert) which we all love!
