QS meals on dining plan

Is it correct that all QS meals get pooled together on the regular dining plan? Does that mean if my son wants something that is not on the kids menu at QS he would be able to get it covered with the dining plan?

As of right now, yes, QS credits are not separated into adult and kid, so if he wants an adult meal, you should be able to get it. Disney could at any time, with no advance warning, find a way to separate them, but the majority of regulars don't think it will happen anytime soon, if ever.
