During the last week of January I had my first DVC trip involving multiple resorts (thanks to last-minute booking) and I really enjoyed my stay at OKW.
There was only one problem. At night my door was covered with flying insects that resembled mosquitoes. They didn't bite, but every time I opened the door a few would pop in. They became so numerous that I left a light on in the bathroom when I went out for a few hours so they would congregate in one place.
I have always stayed in resorts with interior hallways, so this was a first for me. Here are my questions:
1. Is this common year-round at OKW or just during certain seasons? (I was in building 32, in case that matters.)
2. What can you do to keep them out of your room? After checking out I thought about unscrewing the outside lightbulb, but I don't recall if you can reach inside the lamp.
Thanks for any ideas!
