QS dining plan be used for Be Our Guest Lunch??

In past years, we have been able to use a QS for lunch at Be Our Guest. Has this changed?

When I look up my reservation on MDE and click on reservation details I see this: Disney 2019 Disney Quick Service Disney Dining Plan Refillable Drink Mug QSR Plan (TBX) Not Accepted.

So weird. I have reread the email confirmation for the dining reservation and it states, If applicable, location requires 1 Quick Service meal for Disney Dining Plan

I just looked at the Disney website and it shows it DOES include BOG for QS dining plan. We ate lunch there earlier this year and used our dining plan.

Maybe it means you can't use your mug because I think you can only use them in resorts?

I'm thinking people are probably purchasing one of two meals and sharing, using their dining plan refillable mug (everyone getting a drink) without purchasing the drink. The mugs are only to be used at Disney resorts. Another thing, when using a qs credit at the resorts, most will allow you to use your mug for the drink portion of your credit and substitute your drink for a "snack". Perhaps people wanted to use their mugs and get the "snack" (dessert or sidd ) for free. Just my thoughts.

I checked a few weeks back and it said Select Dining Plans Accepted, so I assumed it was just a glitch. When I saw your post, I went to double check and now again it states 2019 Disney Quick Service Disney Dining Plan Refillable Drink Mug QSR Plan (TBX) Not Accepted. I wish I had taken a screenshot or picture..... Our trip isn't until Dec. so I haven't called. If you get an answer, please post here what you find out.

But I also get this message on my reservation for the ABC Commissary Dinner which is a reservable Quick Service and that restaurant does NOT serve table service. So I am just not certain this is correct. I also get the message on our Oga's Cantina reservation and as far as I know, that restaurant isn't going to accept dining plans.....

I just realized I never mentioned we have the free dining promotion. Reservations were made through the My Disney Experience and I do kind of wonder if they are restricting the free dining quick service from some restaurants.

It doesn't matter how you booked the dining plan. QS credits are accepted at BOG for breakfast and lunch.

There's nothing to worry about.

We were on the free dining quick serve plan last week. We used a credit at both ABC Commissary for dinner and also at BOG for breakfast and lunch.

Once you have the plan, the system has no idea how you got it, free or paid. There's no way they could restrict some.

I'm fairly certain they are trying to make sure you do not bring your RESORT mug to the restaurant and try to fill it. You will definitely be able to use your QS credits to purchase your lunch.

Thanks everyone for your replies! My brain was telling me not to worry but there have been a lot of unknowns and differences planning this trip compared to our previous trips that have stressed me out. And with all of our 8 kids + a new daughter in law on this trip, I certainly do not want to show up at a restaurant and have to pay out of pocket because I didn't do my research.
