QS credits

If we have 3 in our party, can we use 4 credits at one meal? My teenage son can eat more than one meal at times, and it is either another credit or OOP

No you can only purchase the amount of meals as to the amount of people on the DDP.

So if you have 3 on the DDP, you can only order 3 meals at a time.

You may as well pay OOP, unless you think you someone in your party is a light eater and will have leftover credits. You can either pay OOP or someone can line up at the register and order another meal in a separate transaction. Could he not supplement his meals with a snack credit? Some snacks are quite big - so are the portions at the CS places at Disney. Snack credits are usually the one left over at the end of people's trips because they didn't use them all.

Your just better off either upgrading to Deluxe or paying OOP. You can only use the amount of credits that there are people...

After he's had his meal, if he's still hungry, he can go up and order another one. Of course, eventually you'll run out of credits if you're planning for all of you to eat every day. I'm sure someone will correct me if this is against the rules , but I don't think Disney cares how you use your credits.

No, this is not against the rules. We just did this when we were there, but for different reasons. It was last full day and we had an extra CS meal since one day I only ate one of mine.

After we finished our dinner, we were heading back to our resort, so we ordered another meal and took it with us. As long as you are using the credits for people on the plan, it is not an issue.

They would not let you get 4 in one transaction, but you can certainly have him get his two by himself and then have you get the other two.

Thanks! My DH and I tend to split meals quite often, so I figured we would have "extra" credits DS could use when he is hungry. Sounds easy enough to have him just go through the line again, if he wants another meal. I also like the idea of him using some of the snack credits at meals to make it a bigger meal!
