QS credit question

I'm sure this answer is somewhere but I can't find it in the ways I'm searching so sory if I'm missing it!!

We'll be heading down for an 11 night stay using the regular dining plan. I'm all set on how we'll use the snack and TS credits but an d a bit confused about an aspect of the QS ones. It's two adults and two kiddos. When we ere last there we kept finding that each of us having our own QS breakfast was too much food for us, especially if we are planning on a TS lunch. If we sometimes use just two or three QS meals how can I keep track of how many kids and how many adults are left? I don't remember there being a differentiation on the receipt for that. Like if some days we use two adults or one adult and two kids meals and so forth, do I need to write down how many of each I bought or will it be on the reciept. I'm aware that we can't use kid credits for adult meals and that's not what I'm trying to do. I just don't want to get there and have chosen adult platters on one of my last days to find that we only have kid ones left and I hadn't realized it. Any advice? Or is it marked on the receipt so I don't need to be thinking this much about it!? Haha.

They will not break down adult and child QS credits on your receipt.

It is the policy of the DIS restaurant boards to stick with Disney's literature which says you must use the child's credits to buy children's meals, including CS credits, at any restaurant that has a child's menu. Therefore the previous post was deleted.

You might want to check the Creative DISigns forum -- I think some folks there have some "credit tracker" printouts so you can mark off used credits by type, to make sure you're using your credits properly and have a good idea how many of each type remain.

Let's see how I can post this, without getting deleted!

The Disney computer system does not differentiate between adult CS credits and child CS credits. The card itself limits how you can use the credits in 1 sitting -- For you, it won't allow you to order more than 2 adult meals, or more than 2 kids meals, at once. But you may of course order less than that.

As the computer does not in any way differentiate between the adult credits and the child credits, you are purely left on an honor code. Towards the end of the trip, the computer won't know how many adult credits versus child credits you have left.
Draw your own conclusions from those facts.

Thank you so much for the info. I will try to find one of those tracking sheets. And it is good to know if I'm somehow off by one or so by the end the system won't force me to eat chicken nuggets off the kids menu! :)
