QS Breakfast if Staying at BC

We are staying at the BC for 6 nights in Sept. This is our first time staying there (40% PIN code - yay!). Have always stayed at POFQ and loved their food court, especially for QS breakfast. It doesn't look like BC has that option. Will we have to wait and eat at whatever park we're going to that day? I guess for Epcot we can just head straight for Sunshine Seasons, but not sure what we'll do on other days. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You're correct, there are no food courts in the Epcot resort area. The only thing that comes close is Picabu at the Dolphin, but they don't accept DDP. It is a good choice if you are not on DDP. 20% discount for AAA members and DVC members.

At AK you can get breakfast at Pizzafari, at MK you can get breakfast at Main Street Bakery. At HS, Starring Rolls or Fairfax Fare (sometimes ABC Commissary).

If you are on the dining plan your options in the Epcot resort area for CS breakfast are Beach Club Marketplace or Boardwalk Bakery (sandwiches, etc - not full hot breakfast platters) or the continental breakfast served in the lounges at Yacht Club and Boardwalk.

We love Picabu breakfast with the AAA discount. There's also a convenience store there.

We are on the DDP so unfortunately Picabu won't work. :sad2: I thought this might be the case, though. When you mention the lounges at BW and YC, do you mean their concierge lounges? If so, how does that work? That could provide an option for a couple of days perhaps.

Not the club level lounges, I mean their actual bar/lounges, which are not open for drink service in the mornings, so they serve continental breakfast in there, probably in response to the fact that there aren't many DDP CS options for breakfast in the area. Bellevue Lounge at Boardwalk or Ale & Compass lounge at Yacht Club.

We stayed at BCV in May. We ate at both the BC Marketplace and BW Bakery. Both were great for breakfast. At the BC Marketplace we had Ham, cheese & egg sandwich on a croissant that counted as a QS, we got coffee & milk with it, and can't remember if anything else. There were pastries, yogurt parfait which I think counted as snacks. We enjoyed the breakfast there. YOu could also get cereal & milk, etc.
At the BW DH had ham & cheese sandwich again, I had a bagel with cream cheese. We got yogurt parfaits & cinnamon roll.

You can't get Mickey waffles at either place, but we enjoyed our breakfasts at both.

BC Marketplace has some great choices- not a huge selection but we always found something great there. I love the chocolate chip croissants and the croissant sandwiches are awesome, too!

Agree with PP - love the BC Marketplace...

Usually we bring lots of Breakfast "IN ROOM" foods... Pop Tarts, Muffins, Cereal Bars, Cereal, Grits, Oatmeal, and we do Breakfast in the room...

By the time we get to the Parks.... and get a few attractions done.... it's CS/QS time..... so we do that... 11am - 12noon.

Then TS in the early afternoon... It's worked for us... with Snacks to "fill in"

Other than 'Ohana Breakfast.....we really don't have a breakfast "must have " restaurant....and are not breakfast people....

Hugs,
Mary

PS: DS18 and I did WCC Breakfast and had a BLAST on May 10th....just an "aside" from the previous report! LOL!
