I'm not sure where to ask this so I thought I'd start here. We will be staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek next month and I'd like to know if we would be allowed to drive over to Caribbean Beach Resort to eat breakfast one morning. My daughter and I would love to get some Mickey waffles. We did this several years ago but that was before the Skyliner.

IMHO you are more likely to run into a challenge trying to visit CBR vs POR/POFQ or Coronado just because of the Skyliner. Parking at DHS and taking the Skylinger to CBR would work, but you can try getting in at CBR and see what they say.

Thanks for your reply. The only reason I considered CBR is they’re basically right next door to Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort. I thought on our non park day we’d start with breakfast over there. I’ll take a look at the other resorts breakfast options.

I think as long as you provide your ID and tell them you are going for breakfast only, it should not be a problem. But a back up plan is always nice

There’s just not a guarantee to get in. If you have the time then it’s worth a try.

When you did it last time, were you staying on property? I think sometimes this makes a difference. The guard booths often start with a question about where you’re staying, and I think that’s to help rule out possible motivations. There’s alot they take into consideration though, and it’s a roll of the dice which things are most important to the guard you get that day.

No, we were at WBC that time too.

I doubt they will let you in. We had a dinner reservation at the CBR and the guard was pretty vigilant about checking. We had to show ID and he confirmed our reservation time. We had the car window down while waiting behind another car and could hear the guard telling that car they would have to turn around since they were neither a CBR guest (they were at the Poly) and did not have a dining reservation. Either use a rideshare or go to either of the Port Orleans resorts. There is no Skyliner or monorail there and they are a lot more lenient about parking. And they are almost the same distance away. If all you are looking for are Mickey waffle, you can get them there. Beignets, too!
