3+3 = 6 x 3=18

No. In math you do the multiplying first and then add.

So you would do the 3x3 first to get 9. Then you add the 3 to that to get 12.

If you have a multiple step problem you do all multiplying and dividing first and then add or subtract afterward.

The correct answer is 12.
