Q107 morning guy on DCL

I was listening to Q107 this morning and the morning guy (think it might have been John Derringer??) was mentioning he was on DCL last week with his family - 7 night Western. Apparently there was a guy on a Carnival line that went overboard off Ft Lauderdale and DCL was one of the ships out looking for him. John also mentioned that when they got off in Grand Caymen the Carnival ship was also debarking and they were a bunch of drunken teenagers. Definately not my idea of a good time!!!!!

I heard this as well on the drive in. I love John D, although he didn't stike me as a Disney guy. He was pretty positive on the cruise, can't wait to go agian.

My brother and his family were on a Carnival cruise last week and told me about this - he wasn't on the cruise that the guy went over on but another one. He said Carnival did a great job of keeping the rowdy drunks contained to one area of the ship - he said they didn't have any problems at all and they are avid cruisers.

Apparently from what he said the guy that went over was in the water for a long time before he was picked up!
