Q`s regarding booking seat on Virgin website.

Now either i am doing something wrong or perhaps i am a tad early, but i put all my details in after going into the manage flights section and thats where it stops. Is there a time limit before you can book your seat online?

Also i have read somewhere where people check to see how full a flight is, does anyone know the web address for this.

Ali I have looked here http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/faq/preassignedseating.jsp and it says about pre booking seats 336 days prior to departure.

Not sure about the other question

I had the same problem...i phoned virgin and he said you could only go on the website 11 months in advance!So the 21st Jan...here we come!

When I tried to book the seats online I had the same problem, so in the end I called them and did it that way....also nice to speak to a human!!

I was successful eventually, but found out that it is 11 months from the date you RETURN before Virgin Holidays pass details to Virgin Atlantic, so guess this is the key date............?

I couldnt work out which number was my e-ticket number and which my booking reference so in the end i called Virgin and they were very helpful. I booked the double seats at the back of the 747 with the extra space for a flight at the end of April. As soon as I got off the phone and refreshed the webpage, it showed my pre-booked seats. Fab!

Yeah, dead impressive once you get there!

I kept putting in my Virgin reservation number (from the invoice) and (as soon as the 11-month barrier passed), it found my e-ticket number in its records. It all about one part of Virgin telling the other part..................
