Curious. When you talk about how much you saved, do you talk about what the deal gives you off the rack rate of what you are booking or do you give what you would have paid compared to what you had booked?
For example, if you had booked a moderate, but upgraded to a deluxe and saved $1000 off the rack rate of a deluxe do you say that saved $1000? Or do you say you saved $200 since that is the difference on the rack rate of the moderate v. what you are paying for the deluxe? **These are made up numbers for an example only and assuming you were paying rack rate before any discounts.
For me, I always go for the lowest bottom line number and my savings are from what I was originally going to save, regardless of where I end up.
