Just booked 9/30/06 eastern while onboard the 9/1 3-day - I was very pleasantly surprised that DCL was able to extend great pricing and got a $400 stateroom credit (booked connecting cat 9s).....I really dont think my trusted TA will be able to match or beat the pricing(I know I would be able to keep $400 stateroom credit if transferred to TA)....

My question is this.....when FL res discounts are announced for a particular date...
a)does DCL automatically adjust your res to lower pricing if FL res comes out before final payment / issue a refund for difference if after final payment? OR b) do I have to notify DCL to update my res to reflect FL res discount? AND
c) is the FL res discount typically a set % that would be the same regardless of DCL or my TA had the res?

I am in a quandry whether or not to transfer the res I just made through DCL to my TA....any thoughts would be appreciated

I can answer two of your questions. The resident rates are the same directly through Disney and any agent I have checked, and while some agents will automatically adjust for you if resident rates come out (DU and Allseas I know do this) Disney does NOT. You have to watch for the resident rate and call them in order to get the discount.

You cannot keep your onboard credit if you switch rate to FL Resident Rate.
I was going to say the same thing. Only one type credit, discount is allowed.
