Q about Hidden Mickeys

I'm new to VMK, and I'm just wondering about hidden mickeys. What are they? What do they do? How do I collect them? TIA!

In just about every public room, there is a mickey head hidden in the background. No actual face, just the circle for a head and two circles for ears. They blend in really well and are very hard to see, but there is a guide to all their locations in the player's guide at the top of the page. To "collect" them, you need a camera and film, which you can get at VMK Central on Main Street. You take a picture and if you have really found a hidden Mickey, it will turn white briefly. Once you hit certain milestones, you get rewards, such as pins, for collecting them.
