ok i have lots of questions today , i will try catergorise them.

1. Can you have a magic band when you stay offsite?

2. How do you get a magic band if you stay offsite ?

3. Are they free? how much?

4. Can you do ride FP on halloween party nights?

5. What time can you get in the park on party night, i have seen it say 7pm on the website but want to get as much time as possible if i can? also what time does the park close on party nights?

5. Is there anyway to eat that is not in a theme park but gives a view of epcot fireworks?

6 . We havent yet decided where our cruise will be in the plans but just wondered what to do with the hire car ? Do the ports have parking ? cost ideas? at the moment its looking like the cruise will be in the middle so should we return that car and then get a new one? do they have car hire at the ports?

1. Can you have a magic band when you stay offsite?

Yes

2. How do you get a magic band if you stay offsite ?

You have to buy it. Although if you have one from a previous stay, you can use that.

3. Are they free? how much?

Only free if staying on site. They vary in price, from about $12.95 plus tax upwards, depending on if you want a limited edition/fancy one.

4. Can you do ride FP on halloween party nights?

Yes, but only prior to park closing time, i.e. 7pm. Personally, I would not buy a MagicBand if that is the only time you are visiting a park.

5. What time can you get in the park on party night, i have seen it say 7pm on the website but want to get as much time as possible if i can? also what time does the park close on party nights?

Normally, you can enter the park from 4pm onwardds, using the special turnstiles they open up for party guests.

5. Is there anyway to eat that is not in a theme park but gives a view of epcot fireworks?

Basically, no. Some people will say you can see Illuminations from the bridge between the Boardwalk and International Gateway but you can really only see the higher fireworks, not the whole thing.

There will be parking at the port, but it will cost. depending how far into your stay your cruise is, you might be better off doing two separate rentals. There is no drop-off/pick-up place at Miami port, but there are shuttles to the airport with certain rental companies (we used Dollar).

Also you don't really need a magicband. Your park ticket will do FP and entry. The only additional thing that a MagicBand will get you is ride photos automatically added to your MDE photopass.

And you get ride videos as well

Thankyou, very helpful, I will look in to the 2 car rentals when i have pinned this cruise date down . I just want a magic band even if i dont need it so much plus my son wants one for his disney infinity game ( they do magic stuff apparently)pixiedust:
