That will help you remove it. But first (if you haven't already) , go to Symantec.com and buy some virus software. Running this day and age without it is just insane. Norton has stopped 2 email trojans alone in the past two days. It's great peace of mind and it updates itself all the time.
It's one of the pieces of software that I own that I *like* to pay for considering it's benefits.

I had tried the systamic yesterday but couldn't find instructions on how to remove the virus from Windows XP.
Does anyone else have ideas on how to remove this?
Click on your System Tray Icon for Norton and look at the last time the virus definitions were updated. That may be why it didn't catch it. If it's older, you can do a liveupdate and then run again and it should remove it.
