The gold star families are on property todayI was told today Poly was in a “phase 2” parking closure for “an event.” Wonder if there’s some kind of pre-opening for the Tower?

It there a gym in the tower? If not, where is the gym in the poly?
Yes the new tower will have a gym on the first floor nearby the pool. Can be used for both standard poly guests and the tower guestsIt there a gym in the tower? If not, where is the gym in the poly?
Has it been confirmed it will take ADRs? I was assuming it will be more like Geyser Point, which does not.I've very surprised we haven't seen ADRs show up for Wailulu yet.
This is the same pattern as other grab-and-go breakfast places, such as Sanaa.
Saana--
Lunch – 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Dinner – 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Nothing confirmed either way. Geyser Point serves Wilderness Lodge only, which has about 1100 rooms/villas. It's a trek to go out there if you're not staying there. The lodge is pretty empty during the day, when most are at parks. I think ADRs will simply be needed at Wailulu to manage demand. Kona's is already a mess in terms of walk-ups and ADRs. The addition of the Tower and the closeness to both old Poly and GF will give easy access to a lot of people, plus those simply checking the place out. The menu at Wailulu certainly feels more ADR than the menu at Geyser Point.Has it been confirmed it will take ADRs? I was assuming it will be more like Geyser Point, which does not.

This is all true. I've done that, too. I'm just saying that crowds at WL (looking for food) are typically much smaller than those at the Poly, which is why I think that ADRs are more likely for Wailulu, even if Geyser doesn't have them.Just to clarify, you are allowed to go to Geyser point and eat even if you are not staying there.
It definitely would be a planned trip, but we have done it several times!
We make it a point to go see Josh at Geyser Point nearly every trip, whether we're staying at WL or not (mostly we don't stay there). Great bartender!Just to clarify, you are allowed to go to Geyser point and eat even if you are not staying there.

While there’s plenty of ways of getting to Poly without an ADR (Disney transportation to MK and then Boat/Monorail/Walk or park at TTC then Monorail/Walk), not knowing if you’ll be able to get in to Wailulu or not would discourage a fair number of people from making that trek. Meanwhile, offering ADRs at Wailulu would encourage people not at the Poly to book it, come, and take both parking and dining spot availability from people staying at Poly. This is all true. If they don’t offer ADRs, my wife will riot!Meanwhile, offering ADRs at Wailulu would encourage people not at the Poly to book it, come, and take both parking and dining spot availability from people staying at Poly.
Those are the reasons why I think Disney won’t (or shouldn’t) offer ADR for Wailulu.
Most people in this thread seem to think they won't.Anyone else curious if sales incentives will change much for this next quarter?
I was searching for a thread like this! Thanks! Most people in this thread seem to think they won't.

This is relatively new. Florida law now limits interest ownership of real estate to exclude people from certain countries (China, Iran, Russia, Cuba, North Korea, and maybe a couple more). I think that's all the notary is checking for, compliance to this. As far as I know, this has not been picked up on the resale side.Random note, but I read a lot of data points that if you were a new owner buying into DVC for the first time (direct) and paying cash (no financing), that there was no notary needed.
This is false. I still had to do the notary with my wife and sign a document that basically just confirms I am who I say I am and I am not a foreign national.
Hope this helps anyone!
