PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

I realize about the marketing puffery. And there is an outside section that has a walk-up bar. But here is the artwork for the main restaurant. This is nothing like Geyser Point.

I could very well be wrong, but I sort of took the descriptions to mean there will essentially be 2 lunch and dinner menus:
  1. Sit down table service menu for lunch and dinner.
  2. Pool bar casual/takeout menu for lunch and dinner. My guess this may be similar to that of the lava and oasis pools’ menus

Are you talking about the actual food, like bison burger, etc? In that case you’re right it will be nothing like geyser.
What it seems like is a place that you can walk up and get a table (or order to go), or be put in a waiting list like a regular restaurant not a place you have to reserve 60 days ahead.

Disney PVB timeshare license amendment is under review. I'm guessing this will be an "Amend Purchase Agreement" filing similar to what was filed for VGF (3/25/22) which was weeks after BPK sales started.

I just verified there is a similar amendment being done to the main DVC additional information is under review for the same. Matches what they did for VGF BPK.

Seeing the same amendment showing up for VGF, BCV, and others. Is this related to updating the multiple property POS?
Very well could be. They will want that document updated to include the new rooms and other info.

That is how the new Disneyland Hotel Palm Breeze Bar in the DVC tower breezeway is set up. You can reserve ahead, walk up for table service, or order takeout. They also serve the pool guests.

I am hoping they post a menu some time between Oct 1 and 17. I believe Oct 18 would be the start of the 60 day reservation window.
When Kona reopened after its reno a couple years ago, I think the ADR availability came back only a week or two before. There were plenty for us to scoop up and try out.

Even if they open Wailulu exactly Dec 17, they have no obligation to load availability online by the 60 day mark.

I was looking up reservations for May 2025 to see equivalent cash rates. I was shocked at the amount of availability. Every Poly room type was available except the highest-end suites. This surprised me.

Maybe I should just hold out for cash discounts?...

There's a reason Disney doesn't want deluxe standalone resorts anymore.

My opinion - I'm not really surprised by the cash availability. Disney has made minimal effort to market the tower for cash bookings and it's excluded from the general public and AP discount offer that covers through 12/25 (not surprisingly). They'll roll out winter/spring discounts here soon and we'll have to see if it's included - I could be wrong, but I suspect it won't be. This is a generalization but Disney's been pretty stingy with Poly discounts since Covid, even at the risk of occupancy, which I view as their chosen strategy, generally speaking.

If we start seeing things like discounts, big pushes with TAs, etc, then that will tell us something, but not sure they really view that as a priority. Guess we'll see!

People are very driven by social media, and FOMO. Because the tower isn’t open, there are obviously no IG or Tick Tock postings of the neighbor’s date night at Wailulu or the book club ladies cocktails at the pool … just wait 🤣

FYI, if you are a DVC member you can call DVC member services and book via cash. There is a 30% discount for members. This is what we used for the opening. Prior to this, I had never used DVC member services for cash bookings. Wasn't until someone else posted about this 30% discount earlier this year that I learned about it.

Note: it's possible they will wait until the 7 month mark to allow booking.

IMO, Palm Breeze Bar is fantastic.

Lots of crossover with the Trader Sam’s skippers.
Since Wailulu will be a short distance away, I was thinking more people will stop by Trader Sam's Grog Grotto to add their name to the list. Instead of sitting at Capt Cooks or in the lobby, it's an easy walk to Island Tower. Better view from Wailulu bar area. Depending if the soda refill station is inside a fenced pool area or not, those with a valid refillable mug might get free refills there.

They text your phone and give you 10-15 minutes to return to Trader Sam's. We wait in our longhouse room and had plenty of time. Wailulu bar area will be closer to TS than Tokelau and Moorea (particularly with the GCH lobby/Capt Cooks area congestion).

Maybe this benefits the GCH and Capt Cooks area?

Whaaaat? I didn’t even know about this. This is perfect! Next time my extended family tries to plan a family reunion using MY points … “best I can do is a 30% discount” ❤️

I see them updating most of the associations timeshare license. Guessing the rest will be updated in the coming days. First one I see was started on 9/19.

VB is now marked as Approved, Pending with the following wording...
Comment: Submitting revised escrow agreement, property management agreement, and 5th amendment to Declaration of Covenants, Restrictions & Conditions.
WLV (BRV) has the following wording...
Comment: Amend Purchaser Agreement, Management Agreement, Declaration and Facilities Agreement.

Is that for any WDW hotel or just DVC resorts?
