PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

I see we started directing our hate towards reflections now 🤣
Some of us never stopped! Because nothing says rustic wilderness retreat like a 10-story tower than looks just like the last two or three.

I do wonder which will be worse -- the dissonance between the PIT and Longhouses, or the dissonance between Reflections and Wilderness Lodge. They'll have similar themes, and really throw into relief how truly lousy and boring Disney architecture has become.

Just when I was thinking that I’m going to be bored when Poly sales start, the tower opens, and there won’t be a need to follow discussion boards to talk and read about the possibilities…I read about Reflections. Do I have interest in buying there? Probably not. Will I follow the next discussion board about rumors and design/sales info like I did for Poly? Yes.

Well, that could not be more perfect. We’re headed to IOA Sunday. I’ll leave a little early and drag everyone through there … we’ll be easy to spot. One really happy lady, and a couple of angry hostages. 😭
I would suggest reaching out to your guide to see if you can schedule a tour. DVC is not set-up to accommodate walk-in tours during all hours, much less shortly after opening a model room for a highly anticipated addition.

The new Disney Springs DVC center so far (at least for me) has been “self service” in that once they get you settled in your spot, they let you walk through the model rooms unescorted. I’m sure that depends on what you’re looking for … I’m always just there for airconditioning and snacks, and they are so nice. They know I have a guide, they don’t try to sell me anything.

I just make sure I look really poor and shabby when I visit.

I just re-read the information. The post I read (way too late or should I say early this morning), actually mentions the SSR for the model rooms.

@tjkraz didn't they close SSR models and move everything to the Disney Springs DVC center earlier this year? Or did they decide to have redundant DVC models so close???

SSR would probably require an appointment because I have no idea how to get in there. The Disney Springs model rooms are accessible from the lounge. The door is right by the beverage station.

I haven't heard anything about the SSR sales center closing entirely. It's been a few years since I've been there but its appeal was always being large enough for models of multiple resorts. Last time I visited they had model rooms for 3 different resorts. It also had a good size waiting area, supervised child care, private rooms for salespeople to meet with customers, an ice cream counter.

Apparently, yesterday was the first public showing of the Island Tower rooms. He claims to have stayed an extra day because of the hurricane. DVC sent him an invite to tour so his family opted to go. He posted this yesterday. Doesn't mention if this was at SSR or not.

Their family gives their opinion.
Where is this? Is this a mock-up over at Disney Springs?
